Paying your rent
Your rent must be paid at least one week in advance, so you should always be one week in credit. This also applies if you pay at other intervals such as four-weekly or monthly. We will give you a bank standing order mandate with our bank details. This is for you to complete with your own bank details and amount to pay, then take to your bank. There is no other method of paying your rent.
If all, or part, of your rent is paid by Bromley Council Housing Benefit department, you should ask them to pay the rent direct to us and we will credit payment to your account.
Remember - if you are having difficulties paying your rent, please contact us immediately so that we can reach an agreement to pay any arrears over a period. If you fail to pay your rent and do not contact us, you are putting your home at risk.
