We have a vacancy for a part time Sheltered Housing Manager.

Sheltered Housing Manager – Lewisham Borough.

Salary £15,500 - 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri 0900-1300

Annual Leave entitlement will be 25 days per annum plus bank holidays

Playing a key part in maintaining our tenants’ independence, you will deliver all aspects of support and housing management, enabling them to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.

Your duties will include visiting tenants, assessing their needs, producing support plans to help them achieve their goals and organising social events. You will also liaise with support services, facilitate social activities and ensure that access to services is exactly as it should be. With strong listening and observational skills, as well as high standards of professionalism, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Scheme and will be responsible for inspecting and reporting any health and safety issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion and understanding of the needs of older people.

Excellent communication skills are required, as is some experience of undertaking a similar role. Applicants must be able to work with minimal supervision. An enhanced DBS check is required.

The role requires the need to travel to other schemes as required, as well as off-site meetings.

We have a vacancy for a part time Building & Maintenance Surveyor

Building and Maintenance Surveyor – Chislehurst

Salary £23,200 - 14 hours per week over two days, 0900 – 1700

Essential Car User Allowance £1,500

Annual Leave entitlement will be 10 days per annum plus bank holidays

Playing a key role in the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for all aspects to maintain the Association’s portfolio of properties to the highest possible standards within the Association’s policies and resources, and to provide an efficient and responsive service to tenants.

Your duties will include overseeing an approved list of contractors to ensure performance is appropriate, managing the day to day repairs, major repairs and planned maintenance budgets, managing the annual inspection of the Association’s properties, develop and manage the planned maintenance programme, identify and project manage and programme all major repairs and stock reinvestment programmes. You will also assist and prepare tender specifications for major projects. You will be responsible for pre and post inspections of works, ensure that the stock condition database is maintained and updated and prepare performance reports. You will undertake building surveys and diagnose building defects, and specify and administrate required remedial works and be responsible for void specifications.
